Multilingual Temps

The Temporary division at CCP were approached by a long-standing retail client based in London on a Monday lunch time as they were in a desperate situation and needed urgent help and support.

Our client's latest product that was launched earlier in the year had a potential defect and as such the client were due to make a press release on Thursday afternoon. This release was to be distributed across Europe where the product had been distributed and sold for the past six months.

Our client needed to recruit some temporary resource to handle the customer contact from all over Europe in line with the return of their product and potential refund or replacement. This resource would be required for a minimum of one month, potentially two-to-three.

Whilst we had only previously supported this client with its permanent recruitment, this was an opportunity for us to show what we could do within a very limited time frame when sourcing temps.

Having taken the brief on Monday late-afternoon, the aim was to secure six heads (French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch and English) who all had previous multi-lingual contact centre experience. All six candidates had to be available to commence employment on Thursday morning for training.

CCP are proud to say that we supported this client during this difficult time with incredible success. We:

  • Advertised the roles on Monday evening
  • Secured the interest of 15 potential candidates with relevant skills and languages by Tuesday mid-afternoon
  • Offered all 6 roles on Wednesday morning, with paperwork etc. following

All 6 candidates commenced employment as required by our client on Thursday morning.
